Latifa Mswadiku holds a BA in Sociology and Social Work from Mwenge Catholic University, Tanzania. She has experience working with both local and international humanitarian organizations and has held positions of Child Protection Officer for International Rescue committee, Public Health Officer at Oxfam International and recently Project Officer at JamiiBora Health Services Network a local NGO in Tanzania.
She also has skills from trainings on case management by International Rescue Committee, menstrual hygiene management by UNHCR, participatory approaches in hygiene and sanitation by Oxfam International, child protection by UNICEF and community leadership and volunteering by NAMA Foundation.
Latifa believes in result oriented approaches and that no single approach is fixed for every problem, situation or community. Latifa enjoys working with children, the elderly, and women to identify and explore alternatives to attain their social needs, to bring healing and to improve the community’s general well-being. Her social interests include meeting people of diverse culture and community handcraft skills.
